We are very excited to welcome mushrooms to Dear Wildflower Acres & Orchard. Kay and Geary of BearPaw Brook Farms have been incredibly generous with their knowledge and time as we learn about mushroom keeping and harvesting from them. As they transition into their retirement (congratulations, friends), the mushrooms transition into our care.
In the spring, we will offer a variety of mushrooms–wine caps, shiitakes, oysters, chestnuts, and many others. Follow along with our progress, and come see us at farmers markets or at the land.
