About Dear Wildflower

Dear Wildflower is my heart and soul.

I’m Lynette, and I’m on a mission to increase accessibility to nature–nourishing food, time outside, and support and community with others–by cultivating an abundance of food, safety, and resources at Dear Wildflower Acres & Orchard in Strickland, WI.

As I produce quality and clean fruits and vegetables, and raise and harvest ethically and respectfully farmed animals for meat; I will create the ability to share my surplus with others around me, increasing both affordability (flexible pricing//pay-it-forward//pay what you can, take what you need) and accessibility (local and community based farming practices) to nourishing food for our community.

Additionally, (and future-ly) Dear Wildflower’s dream is to create a kind of sanctuary here–a large organic garden, a wildflower field, & an organic orchard with various free-range critters to sustainably roam & enjoy their lives under the shade of the fruit trees. Dear Wildflower will be a community-based place of healing. It will be visited as a retreat or extended living, with sound bathing, yoga, massage, therapy, everything good in the world. D.W. is a safe place that aims to be accessible to all, especially to marginalized communities who need love & support.

Through sustainable and regenerative (respectful and intentional) farming practices, generous community outreach and philanthropy, nature-based healing, and kind and intuitive interactions with others; Dear Wildflower aims to be a a restorative and revitalizing haven for those who need it.

I envision a world where people are well-fed and well-nourished, living in harmony with both self and nature, respectfully and gently interacting with people and planet.

"I want to be able to offer food to people who are hungry, healing to people who are hurt, a sanctuary to people who need rest. //I have found myself in times of extreme struggle, hurt and exhaustion; but have always been tenderly cared for by people who have had excess resources, gentleness, & love. I want to create something that returns the good that I was so graciously offered in difficult times."
